Diffuser Ornaments

These DIY Clay Diffuser Ornaments are an easy, cozy Christmas craft you can make with your kids, family, or friends. They air-dry beautifully, smell amazing with essential oils, and look so cute on the tree! This recipe made around 18 ornaments in total.

Materials

  • 2 cups flour
  • ½ cup salt
  • ¾ cup + 2 tablespoons warm water
  • Ribbon
  • Cookie cutters

Instructions

  • Mix the salt and flour.
  • Then add in the warm water.
  • Mix until it looks crumbly. Then you’ll want to knead it. It takes around 8 to 10 minutes of kneading.
  • Roll out your dough and cut out shapes using cookie cutters. For round ones, use a mason jar.
  • You can roll on some pine tree leaves and other Christmas decorations to make imprinted designs.
  • Make sure to poke a hole for the ribbon.
  • Let air dry.
  • Then you can add the ribbon.
  • Add drops of essential oils and hang on the tree!

Notes

You can paint them once they are dry as well.
