Ingredients
Beeswaxabout 2 cups
Cinnamon sticks
Rosemary
Star anise
Pinecones
Cupcake liners
Instructions
Melt the beeswax in a double broiler.
Put your cupcake liners in the tin.
For the longer herbs and ingredients, you can put in before the beeswax is melted.
Pour the beeswax until it is covering most of the herbs.
Then add in the smaller herbs to sit on top like the star anise.
Allow it to cool down and harden completely.
Notes
Sage, pine needles, lint, orange peels, etc. are some other great ideas to put into the fire starts.
Essential oils are optional, but can also help the fire smell better.
You can use a candle wick to help start it up quickly as well.
It is for outside fire use.
I used about 2 cups of beeswax to get 6 fire starters.
