Muscle Rub
This makes around 6 ounces and is a soothing homemade muscle rub made with nourishing oils and essential oils perfect for sore muscles, tension, and post-workout relief.
- 1/4 cup Hemp seed oil
- 1/4 cup Coconut oil
- 1 tbs Beeswax
- 10 drops Clove essential oil
- 10 drops Peppermint essential oil
- 10 drops Lavender essential oil
- 10 drops Eucalyptus essential oil
Add the hemp seed oil, beeswax, and coconut oil in a glass bowl and melt in a double broiler on medium low heat.
Once melted, remove and allow cool until it is solid. Whip it up until it is light and fluffy.
Then, add in your drops of essential oils and mix one more time.
To Use: Rub anywhere you are feeling muscle pain.
- Essential oil that are great for muscles include peppermint, wintergreen, eucalyptus, lavender, rosemary, turmeric, black pepper. Play around and find a blend that works well for you!
- You can use any carrier oil, I just like hemp seed oil. You can also use an infused oil.
