Rosemary Water for Hair

Packed with benefits like promoting hair growth and soothing the scalp, this DIY Rosemary water for hair spray is made with just a few simple ingredients.

Equipment

  • Colander (to strain the rosemary leaves)
  • Saucepan (to boil the water)
  • Small Bow (to mix essential oils and witch hazel, if using)
  • Spray Bottle (to store and apply the rosemary water)

Ingredients

  • Rosemary
  • Water
  • 10 drops essential oils (optional, if using, add splash of witch hazel)
  • Witch Hazel

Instructions

  • Boil some water and add your rosemary leaves. Let it steep for a while to extract all those beneficial properties.
  • Once the water has cooled slightly, use a colander to strain out the rosemary leaves. Discard the leaves and keep the infused water.
  • If you’re adding essential oils, mix them with the witch hazel. This helps the oils blend well with the water.
  • Combine everything into your spray bottle and give it a good shake. Done!

Notes

  • Essential oils are optional.
  • You can use fresh or dried rosemary, it does not matter.
