Sugar Cookie Lip Balm
A sweet and cozy DIY Sugar Cookie Lip Balm made with vanilla, sweet orange, and a hint of cinnamon smells like fresh-baked cookies and keeps your lips soft all winter long.
- 2 tablespoons carrier oil
- 2 tablespoons beeswax
- 1 ½ tablespoon coconut oil
- 3 drops vanilla essential
- 2 drops sweet orange essential oil
- ½ tablespoon ground cinnamon
In a double boiler, melt the beeswax, carrier oil, coconut oil, and ground cinnamon together until fully liquefied. Stir occasionally to keep the cinnamon from clumping.
Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly, just enough so it won’t damage the essential oils.
Stir in the vanilla essential oil and sweet orange essential oil until well blended.
Pour into lip balm tubes or small tins. Let sit undisturbed until solid, about 1–2 hours.
- You can strain out the cinnamon, but it helps give it a nice color.
