These festive Candy Cane Bath Bombs smell just like Christmas! Made with peppermint and vanilla essential oils, they fizz beautifully in the bath and leave your skin feeling soft and refreshed. Perfect for holiday self-care or handmade gifts!

Materials

  • 1/4 cup baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons citric acid
  • 2 tablespoons Epsom salt
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond oil
  • 4 drops essential oil
  • Red mica powder to desired color
  • Spray bottle with water
  • Round silicone mold

Candy Cane Essential Oil Blend:

  • 3 drops Spearmint essential oil
  • 1 drop Vanilla oleoresin

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine the almond oil and essential oils.
  • In a large bowl, mix the baking soda, citric acid, Epsom salt, and corn starch.
  • Slowly pour in the almond oil mixture, stirring as you go.
  • Spray with water gradually, just enough to make the mixture clump together like damp sand (I used around 6 sprays).
  • Separate into 2 bowls.
  • Add red mica powder and stir until you reach your desired shade.
  • Layer the white and red mixture one by one until it is full. Firmly press down.
  • Let sit for 24 hours, or until fully hardened. Then gently unmold.
  • To Use: Drop one into a warm bath and enjoy

Notes

  • This makes around 5 if using the same mold.
