Candy Cane Lip Balm
A creamy and natural Candy Cane Lip Balm made with simple ingredients, a touch of minty sweetness, and a cute holiday tint. So easy to make and perfect for gifting. This recipe makes around 10 lip balm tubes.
- 2 tablespoon carrier oil
- 2 tablespoon beeswax
- 1 1/2 tablespoon coconut oil
- 5 drops essential oil
- Red mica powder
Candy Cane Essential Oil Blend:
- 3 drops Spearmint essential oil
- 2 drops Vanilla oleoresin
In a double boiler, combine the beeswax, carrier oil, and coconut oil. Heat gently until everything is fully melted and smooth.
Remove from heat and allow to cool for 1-2 minutes so it’s not too hot before adding essential oils.
Stir in a small pinch of red mica powder, mixing until evenly blended. Add more for a deeper tint if desired.
Carefully pour the mixture into lip balm tubes or tins.
Allow to cool completely until solid. Cap and label.
- Any carrier oil works, I used jojoba oil.
- Mica is optional.
