Coffee Eye Patches

Makes about 24 eye patches.

Materials

  • ¼ cup brewed coffee
  • ¼ cup unflavored gelatin
  • 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Round silicone mold

Instructions

  • Brew the coffee. Measure out ¼ cup while still hot, but not boiling.
  • Stir in the honey and aloe vera gel until fully dissolved.
  • Sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the warm liquid. Whisk quickly and continuously to prevent clumping. Mix until completely smooth. If it gets hard too fast, slowly heat in a water bath on the stove until it is smooth again.
  • Pour the mixture into a circle silicone mold. Keep it shallow.
  • Place in the refrigerator for about 1 hour, or until fully set and firm.
  • Once set, remove from the molds and cut in half or into crescent shapes to fit under the eyes.

Notes

How to Use:
Place patches under clean eyes for 10-15 minutes. Store extra patches in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
