I’m officially obsessed with these DIY Coffee Eye Patches. These might be one of my favorite DIYs I’ve ever made.

They’re cooling, de-puffing, slightly tightening, and they just feel so luxurious like a mini spa moment at home. And the best part? They’re made with simple, natural ingredients you probably already have.

If you love coffee and self-care… this is your sign.

Why Coffee Eye Patches?

Coffee is packed with caffeine, which is known to help reduce puffiness and make your under-eyes look more awake. Pair that with soothing aloe vera, hydrating honey, and firming gelatin… and you’ve got yourself a little under-eye treatment that actually feels like it’s doing something.

Plus they’re CUTE. I mean… homemade eye patches?? I’m sold.

Coffee Eye Patches Recipe

I’m genuinely obsessed with how these turned out. They feel cooling, slightly firming, and just make me look more awake especially on those mornings when I didn’t get enough sleep (which is… often lately).

Ingredients You’ll Need

  • 1/4 cup brewed coffee
  • 1/4 cup unflavored gelatin
  • 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Round silicone mold

Instructions:

1. Brew Your Coffee

Start by brewing your coffee. You’ll want to measure out 1/4 cup while it’s still warm, but not boiling hot.

2. Add the Honey and Aloe

Stir in the honey and aloe vera gel until everything is fully dissolved. This is where the hydration and soothing magic starts.

Want to save this for later?

Send it to yourself now and try it out when you’re ready!

3. Mix in the Gelatin

Sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the warm mixture.

Now whisk quickly and continuously this part is key to avoiding clumps. Keep mixing until it’s completely smooth.

If it starts to set too fast (it happens!), just place it in a warm water bath on the stove and gently heat until smooth again.

4. Pour Into Molds

Pour the mixture into your round silicone mold, keeping the layer nice and shallow.

5. Let Them Set

Place the mold in the fridge for about 1 hour, or until the patches are fully set and firm.

6. Shape Your Eye Patches

Once set, remove them from the molds and cut them in half or into crescent shapes so they fit perfectly under your eyes.

How to Use

Place the patches under clean eyes and leave them on for 10–15 minutes.

This is your moment lay down, relax, scroll Pinterest, whatever feels right.

Store any extra patches in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week (they feel even better cold, trust me).
