Dish Soap Bar Recipe
This all-natural solid dish soap bar is an easy DIY swap for a non-toxic, eco-friendly kitchen. It cuts through grease and lasts longer than liquid soap.
Yield: 1 soap bar
- 2.5 ounces melt and pour soap base
- 10-15 drops essential oil I used lime
- 1 tbsp⅓ lime peel powder
- Soap mold
Cut up the melt and pour soap base into small squares.
Melt in the microwave on low heat for 30 seconds at a time. Stir in between until it is completely melted.
Wait for the base to cool for a bit, then add in the lime peel powder.
Finally, add in the essential oils. Keep stirring.
Then, pour into your mold. Wait a few hours or overnight until it is hard. Take out of your mold and enjoy!
To Use: Get wet and rub a dish scrub on it until you see some bubbles. Then wash your dishes
- You can add essential oils if you want.
- Any melt and pour soap base works. I used goat’s milk.
- You don’t have to use lime powder. You can also use lemon or orange zest as well.
