DIY Natural Blush Recipe
Make your own natural cream or powder blush with just a few simple ingredients. customizable, non-toxic, and perfect for a beautiful, rosy glow!
Materials
Ingredients Cream Blush
- 2 drops essential oil optional
- 2 tsp red mica powder
- 1 tsp kaolin clay
- 2.5 tbsp shea butter
Ingredients Powder Blush
- 1 tbsp red mica powder
- 1 tbsp arrowroot powder
- 2 drops essential oil optional
Instructions
Instructions Cream Blush
- Mix together the mica powder and kaolin clay until it is all combined.
- Melt your shea butter on a double broiler.
- Once slightly cool, add in your essential oils, if using.
- Then pour into the powder mixture and stir until all combined.
- Pour into your container and let cool until it is harden.
Instructions Powder Blush
- Mix together the mica powder and arrowroot powder until it is uniform. Make sure there are no clumps.
- If using, add in your essential oils and mix to combine.
Notes
- Essential oils are optional. A rose or geranium oil will work great!
- You can use less or more mica powder to get your desired color. Pink is great for a softer blush. You can also add in some brown mica powder for a more bronze tone.
