Fall Room Spray

Makes 8 ounce spray

Materials

  • 4 teaspoons witch hazel or vodka
  • 40 drops cedarwood essential oil
  • 30 drops sweet orange essential oil
  • 20 drops clove bud essential oil
  • 10 drops nutmeg essential oil
  • 8 drops cinnamon essential oil
  • 10 drops pine essential oil
  • Distilled water to fill about 14 tablespoons, or just shy of 1 cup
  • Spray bottle

Instructions

  • Add all the essential oils to the witch hazel or vodka.
  • Pour into the glass bottle and swirl to mix.
  • Top off with distilled water, leaving a little room at the top.
  • Shake well before each use.

Notes

  • Clove and cinnamon are hot oils, so this blend is for room spraying only, not for skin or fabrics that touch skin often (like pillowcases).
  • Shake well before every use since the oils will separate from the water.
  • Store away from direct sunlight to help the scent last longer.
  • Avoid spraying directly on wood furniture or fabrics that could stain.
  • For a lighter version, cut all essential oil amounts in half.
