Flea and Tick Powder for Your Home (Dog-Friendly & Natural)
This homemade flea and tick powder is an easy, natural way to keep pests out of your home. It’s dog-friendly, smells fresh, and is perfect for sprinkling around pet beds and carpets. Not safe for cats.
Ingredients
- 10 drops rosemary essential oil
- 10 drops cedarwood essential oil
- 10 drops peppermint essential oil
- 1/4 cup diatomaceous Earth
- 1/4 cup baking soda
Instructions
- Mix together the diatomaceous earth and baking soda powder.
- Add in your drops of essential oils and stir to combine.
- To use, sprinkle the powder around dog bed or areas where there are fleas.
Notes
- Not suitable for cats because of the essential oils.
- From my knowledge, these essential oils are best for a flea remedy.
