Herbal Salt Recipe

This homemade herbal salt recipe takes just minutes to make and adds a pop of fresh, herby flavor to any dish. Use it on roasted veggies, meats, soups, or even popcorn.
Servings 6 ounces

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Sea salt
  • 1 tbsp basil
  • 1 tbsp sage
  • 1 tbsp rosemary
  • 1 tbsp thyme

Instructions

  • Add the herbs to a grinder or blender. Blend until a fine powder.
  • Mix in with the salt.
  • Pour into a jar and keep it a cool, dry place. Use as you would regular salt.

Notes

  • Taste out the salt on something and see how you like it. If the herbs are too strong, add in more salt until you get something you like.
  • Any salt will work.
  •  If you use fresh herbs, be sure to dry them out before using.
