Homemade Electrolyte Powder

Print Recipe
A simple, natural electrolyte powder to stay hydrated without artificial ingredients. Mix 1 teaspoon with 8 oz of water and enjoy!
Servings 14 ounces

Ingredients

  • Ingredients
  • 1 cup maple sugar
  • 1/4 cup Sea salt
  • 1/4 cup potassium chloride
  • 2 tablespoons magnesium citrate powder
  • 1/4 cup citric acid

Instructions

  • 1. Measure out and combine all your ingredients. Cover your face or wear a mask as there is some smoke while mixing that can hurt if you breathe it in.
  • 2. If you see clumps, sift it out so it is all a smooth powder.
  • 3. Pour into a jar and keep it a cool, dry place.
  • To Use: add a teaspoon into 8 ounces of water and stir until all combined.

Notes

  • You can use any sugar, or sugar substitute. Change the amounts to help with your taste preference.
  • I used a flavored magnesium powder, but plain works as well.
