Add your comfrey to your glass jar, about ¾ full.
Fill the rest with water.
Add your lid and secure it tightly. Leave for 6+ weeks.
If you don’t want to wait 6+ weeks for your comfrey tea to brew, you can also make a quick heat infusion! Heat the pot over low heat and bring it to a gentle simmer. You don’t want a rolling boil just a soft simmer that warms the water and helps release all those good nutrients.Let it simmer for a couple hours. After simmering, remove the pot from heat and let it sit, covered, for several hours or overnight.
Then strain out the comfrey leaves.
Dilute the strong comfrey tea with water 1 to 1 and add to your garden soil to help fertilize it.
