Rose Hip Soap

This made about 4 soaps if using same mold.

Materials

  • ½ lb goat milk melt & pour soap base
  • ½ tablespoon pink clay
  • 1 tablespoon dried rosehips finely crushed
  • 15 drops essential oils optional
  • Silicone mold

Instructions

  • Cut the goat milk soap base into small cubes.
  • Melt gently using a double boiler or microwave in 20-30 second bursts, stirring between each.
  • Once melted, add essential oils and mix well.
  • Stir the pink clay into the melted soap base until fully combined.
  • Add most of the crushed rosehips and stir gently.
  • Carefully pour the soap into 4 mold cavities.
  • Sprinkle some rose hips on top to create the look from the picture.
  • Let harden completely (about 2-4 hours or overnight).
  • Gently remove from the mold once fully set.

Notes

  • Crushing the rosehips finely helps keep the exfoliation gentle.
  • For a smoother bar, you can sprinkle rosehips only on the top instead of mixing throughout.
