Rose Sugar Scrub

A luxurious and easy-to-make rose sugar scrub that exfoliates and nourishes your skin while smelling absolutely divine.

Materials

  • 1 cup white cane sugar
  • 1/4 cup carrier oil sunflower, almond, or jojoba
  • 1 tbsp dried rose petals
  • 10 –15 drops rose essential oil optional
  • 1 tsp pink mica optional

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine the sugar and dried rose petals.
  • Pour in the carrier oil and mix well.
  • Add the rose essential oil and pink mica (if using), then stir until fully incorporated.
  • Adjust the consistency by adding more sugar if too wet or more oil if too dry.
  • Store in a glass jar and enjoy!

Notes

  • This recipe makes a beautiful handmade gift.
  • You can make your own rose oil by infusing dried rose petals in a carrier oil for a few weeks. It’s a great way to get a natural rose scent!
  • If you don’t have pink mica, you can leave it out or use a tiny bit of beetroot powder for a natural pink tint.
  • Use within 3 months for best freshness.
