Stain Remover Stick
A natural stain remover stick made with simple, non-toxic ingredients to tackle tough stains without harsh chemicals.
- 1/2 cup bar Castile soap
- 2 tbsp washing soda
- 2 tbsp borax
- 1 tbsp liquid castile soap
- 3 tbsp water
- 15 drops essential oils optional
- Container
Grate up the castile bar soap. Then slowly melt in a double broiler. It will not melt all the way, but it will melt down some.
Once melted down, add in the washing soda, borax, liquid castile soap, and water.
Stir quickly right away to incorporate it all together. Then add in your drops of essential oils if using.
Put into your containers and pat down to get it all inside. Let cool for a few hours.
To Use: Wet the top of the stick and rub on your stain. Leave for an hour, then wash.
- If you over melt the castile bar soap, it will be very clumpy. If that is the case, you can simply chop it up to fine pieces and it will incorporate just fine.
- Essential oils are optional, but citrus ones work great!
