I’m not even kidding… these Easter bunny soaps might be one of the cutest things I’ve ever made.

If you’re trying to switch to more non-toxic products or just want a fun little Easter DIY, this is such an easy one to start with. No complicated steps, no weird ingredients just simple, pretty soaps that feel like a mini treat every time you use them

Ingredients

How to Make Easter Bunny Soaps

1. Prep your soap base

Start by cutting your glycerin soap base into small cubes. This helps everything melt faster and more evenly.

Then divide it into 5 separate containers (one for each color).

2. Melt the soap

Melt each portion using a double boiler or microwave in 20–30 second bursts.

Make sure to stir in between so it doesn’t overheat. You want it fully melted and smooth.

Once melted, let it sit for about a minute. This step matters if it’s too hot, it can affect your colors and essential oils.

4. Add your scent

Add about 8 drops of essential oils into each portion.

Want to save this for later?

Send it to yourself now and try it out when you’re ready!

I love using lavender or sweet orange, especially if these are for kids—they’re gentle and smell sooo good.

5. Add color

Add a small amount of mica powder to each bowl and stir until fully combined.

Start with a little you can always add more, but mica is strong and goes a long way.

6. Pour into molds

Carefully pour each color into your bunny mold.

7. Let them set

Leave the soaps at room temperature for about 1–2 hours until fully hardened.

Once they’re set, pop them out of the mold and admire your work because… they’re adorable.

Notes:

  • Spray the top with rubbing alcohol to get rid of bubbles
  • Don’t overdo the mica start small!
  • Stick to gentle, skin-safe essential oils if making these for kids

These little bunny soaps are just happy.

They’re one of those simple DIYs that make your home feel more intentional and seasonal without spending a ton of money or using toxic ingredients.

I also love that you can customize everything the colors, the scent, even the molds.

And if you’re putting together Easter baskets this year… these are SUCH a cute handmade addition
