DIY Intention Candles with Essential Oils Recipe
Here’s how to make your own intention candle:
1. Write Down Your Intention.
Use a permanent marker to write a wish, blessing, prayer, or kind thought directly on each wooden wick. (Write it high enough that it won’t get trimmed away.)
2. Prepare the Wick.
Slide the wooden wick into the metal clip. Stick a wick sticker to the bottom of the clip, then press it firmly into the center of your candle vessel.

3. Melt the Wax.
Slowly melt the soy wax blend in a large double boiler, stirring occasionally.
4. Mix in Oils.
Once the wax cools slightly, add your oils (around 185°F is ideal for the best scent throw). Stir gently for 2–3 minutes.
5. Pour and Set.
Carefully pour your scented wax into the prepared vessels. Let them sit on a flat surface for at least 24 hours undisturbed.
6. Trim and Light.
Trim the wooden wick to 1/8 inch before lighting.
