Candy Cane Lip Scrub Recipe:
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3 teaspoons carrier oil (I used jojoba oil, but any carrier oil works great!)
- 1/2 tablespoon Himalayan salt
- 4 drops essential oil (see my candy cane blend below!)
- Red mica powder (optional for that festive color)
Candy Cane Essential Oil Blend
- 2 drops Spearmint essential oil
- 1 drop Sweet Orange essential oil
- 1 drop Vanilla oleoresin
This blend smells minty-sweet with a cozy, creamy twist just like a candy cane!

Instructions:
1. Mix the Oils
In a small bowl, combine your carrier oil and essential oils. Stir gently until everything is well blended. This will make sure the scent spreads evenly throughout your scrub.

2. Combine the Sugar and Salt
In a separate bowl, mix the sugar and Himalayan salt. The sugar exfoliates gently, while the salt adds a little extra polishing power (and gives the scrub a nice texture).

3. Add the Oils
Pour your oil mixture into the sugar-salt blend. Stir until the texture looks even it should feel moist but not runny.

4. Add the Mica
Finally, add a tiny bit of red mica powder just enough to give it that candy cane charm. A little goes a long way! Stir until evenly colored.

Then, transfer your lip scrub into a small airtight container or tin.

How to Use Candy Cane Lip Scrub:
Scoop out a small amount and gently massage onto your lips in circular motions for about 30 seconds. Rinse off or wipe clean with a warm cloth, then follow with your favorite lip balm.

Notes:
- Jojoba, coconut, sweet almond, or even olive oil all work beautifully.
- Mica: Optional, but it adds a pretty pink tint and shimmer.
