How to Make Your Own Natural Eyeshadow

Instructions

1. Choose Your Shade:

Pick your mica colors and pigments. You can go bold, neutral, or mix and match to get that perfect custom hue.

2. Blend Your Base:

In a small bowl or mortar, blend:

  • DIY Mineral Makeup Base
  • Chosen pigments and micas

Use a pestle, silicone spatula, or a dedicated coffee grinder.

3. Loose Powder:

Pour your blended powder into a cosmetic tin. Use a fluffy eyeshadow brush to apply.

4. Pressed Powder:

Add 1/8 tsp almond oil to the blended powder and stir well.

Transfer the mix into a tin and press down using your fingertip or the back of a spoon. You now have your own pressed eyeshadow!

How to Make Cream Blush or Cream Eyeshadow

1. Melt Your Base:

In a small heat-safe bowl, melt together:

  • 1/4 tsp almond oil
  • A small scoop of mango butter
  • A small pinch of cetyl alcohol

2. Blend It All:

Once melted, stir in your powder mix (base + pigment + mica). Stir until smooth.

3. Pour & Set:

Pour into a tin, tap gently to remove air bubbles, and let it cool completely. Apply using clean fingers or a brush.

Notes:

  • Work in a well-ventilated area or wear a face mask, those fine powders can float into the air.
  • Clean all your tools right after using them.
