Once melted, keep the mixture on low heat and allow the green tea to infuse for about one hour. This slow infusion helps draw the beneficial compounds from the tea into the oil.

2. Strain the green tea

Remove the mixture from heat and carefully strain it through a fine mesh strainer to remove all of the green tea leaves.

Take your time here you want a smooth, clean oil with no particles left behind.

3. Add essential oils & pour

If using essential oils, stir them in once the mixture has been strained and slightly cooled. Keep the amount very low, especially since this cream is meant for the eye area.

Pour the mixture into a small, tightly lidded container and allow it to cool and solidify at room temperature for several hours.
