If you’re looking for a super easy, totally delicious-smelling way to pamper your skin, this DIY strawberry sugar scrub is about to be your new favorite! It’s sweet, simple, and makes your skin feel incredibly soft. Plus, it looks as cute as it smells, perfect for a little self-care moment or a fun homemade gift.🍓💕
I like to try all my recipes before publishing, so I just took a shower and used this strawberry body scrub, and I can confirm that it’s amazing! It smells delicious and tastes delicious AS WELL. Haha! That’s the beauty of homemade natural products imo, since I only used natural ingredients, I knew I could literally taste this scrub, something you definitely can’t do with regular store-bought ones.
Why You’ll Love This Strawberry Sugar Scrub
- Smells amazing: Think fresh, juicy strawberries with a hint of sweetness.
- Gently exfoliates: The sugar buffs away dry skin, leaving you with a silky-smooth glow.
- All-natural: No weird ingredients, just simple, skin-loving stuff!
Strawberry Sugar Scrub Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup white cane sugar (premium granulated for the best texture)
- 1/8 cup freeze-dried strawberry powder (this gives the scrub its natural pink color + fruity scent)
- 1/8 cup carrier oil (I used sunflower oil, but you can use whatever you love!)
- Optional: A few drops of strawberry extract or essential oil for an extra scent boost

Instructions:
1. Prep Your Ingredients
If you’re using strawberry essential oil, mix it with your carrier oil first, this helps distribute the scent evenly throughout the scrub. I didn’t use any essential oils in this recipe.
2. Mix It Up
In a bowl, combine the sugar and freeze-dried strawberry powder. Stir well to make sure the strawberry goodness is evenly mixed in.

3. Add the Oil
Slowly pour in your carrier oil over the dry ingredients.

4. Stir Gently
Mix everything together until the sugar and oil are fully combined. The mixture should have a slightly damp, sandy texture, moist enough to hold together but not too oily.

5. Store & Enjoy
Transfer your scrub into a clean, airtight jar and enjoy.

Notes
- Use 2-3 times a week for soft, radiant skin.
- Any carrier oil works! Sweet almond, jojoba, or coconut oil are all great options.
- Store in an airtight container to keep it fresh and prevent clumping.
This scrub is gentle enough for your body, hands, and even lips! (Just make sure your carrier oil is lip-safe if you’re using it as a lip scrub.)
Now go enjoy your silky-smooth skin and that dreamy strawberry scent. Let me know if you try it, I’d love to hear how it works for you!
