I love when something simple can feel this special. These little soaps are easy to make, all-natural, and they fill your whole space with that sweet, spicy scent that just feels like the holidays.

This recipe makes about 5–6 soaps, depending on the size of your molds perfect for gifting or keeping a few for yourself (which, let’s be real, you’ll definitely want to do).

Gingerbread Soap Recipe:

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound melt-and-pour soap base
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 30 drops vanilla oleoresin
  • 20 drops cinnamon leaf essential oil
  • 20 drops ginger essential oil
  • 10 drops clove essential oil
  • 10 drops sweet orange essential oil

Instructions:

1. Melt and Mix

Cut your soap base into small cubes and place them in a heat-safe bowl with the ginger and cinnamon. Melt slowly using a double boiler or in the microwave in 20–30 second bursts, stirring in between until it’s fully smooth.

2. Add the Scents

Let the mixture cool for a minute or two so it’s warm but not hot. Then add your vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, clove, and sweet orange essential oils and stir gently to blend.

3. Pour and Set

Pour your mixture into your soap molds and let them cool completely at room temperature for a few hours. Once they’re firm, pop them out, and you’ll have the cutest little gingerbread-scented soaps ever.

4. Store or Gift

Keep your soaps in a cool, dry place or wrap them in parchment paper or plastic wrap. They’ll stay fresh for months and make adorable holiday gifts. Add a little ribbon or a cinnamon stick, and you’re good to go.
