If you’re trying to grow your hair, boost scalp health, or just make your locks look more lush and shiny, this simple hair growth serum might become your new favorite. The natural ingredients in this hair growth serum can strengthen your hair, promote growth, and add a healthy, beautiful shine.

This hair growth serum is super easy to make, uses just a few ingredients, and feels so nourishing.

I’m really trying hard right now to nourish my ends and make my hair stronger. It’s finally long, and I want to keep it that way! This hair growth serum felt like one of those must-try recipes and I’m so glad I did.

You know I get a lot of inspiration from herbalists, the Herbal Academy, natural recipes, and honestly just my own research. This one felt simple, powerful, and totally worth adding to my routine.

Why This Serum Works?

  • Argan Oil: Often called “liquid gold,” this oil is rich in antioxidants and vitamin E. It helps moisturize and protect the hair, making it softer and less prone to breakage.
  • Nettle: When used properly, nettle is full of minerals like iron and silica, which are believed to strengthen hair and reduce shedding.
  • Rosemary: A favorite for hair growth. It improves circulation to the scalp and has even been shown to help stimulate hair follicles.
  • Essential Oils (Optional): Lavender and rosemary essential oils are both amazing for your scalp and hair health. They can help balance oil production and support growth.

Hair Growth Serum Recipe:

Ingredients

Instructions:

1. Infuse Your Oil

Start by adding dried rosemary and nettle to a clean glass jar. Then pour argan oil over the herbs, making sure everything is fully covered.

Want to save this for later?

Send it to yourself now and try it out when you’re ready!

Seal the jar and let it infuse for a few weeks in a cool, dark place. Give it a gentle shake every few days. Once it’s done, strain the oil using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove the herbs.

You can speed things up using the low heat infusion method, just place your jar in a double boiler with gently simmering water over low heat and let it infuse for 4–6 hours.

2. Transfer to a Dropper Bottle

Once you’ve strained your oil, pour it into a clean dropper bottle. This makes it easy to apply and store.

3. Add Essential Oils (Optional)

If using add about 20 drops of essential oil. I recommend lavender or rosemary both are incredible for hair and smell amazing.

How to Use Your Hair Growth Serum:

I usually just add a few drops of the serum to my hands and rub them together. Then gently massage the oil into the ends of my hair, working my way up. You can also use a little on your scalp if it tends to be dry just don’t overdo it!
