This is what my hair and skin look like after being super consistent with my all-natural shampoo and conditioner, along with using this rose hair oil and rosemary water.

Why You Need This Rose Oil

Rose oil is packed with antioxidants, making it perfect for both your hair and skin. It hydrates, softens hair strands, and adds smoothness and shine. For your skin, it gives a beautiful, radiant glow and helps calm redness or irritation. By making your own, you can skip all the questionable additives found in store-bought versions.

Plus, it smells amazing, like fresh roses! this homemade recipe is all-natural!

Homemade Rose Oil Recipe for Hair & Skin

Ingredients

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare Your Mason Jar

Fill the mason jar about halfway with dried rose petals.

Step 2: Add the Jojoba Oil

Pour in approximately 6 ounces of jojoba oil. If you’re using a mason jar, the side measurements make this easy. Otherwise, a measuring cup works just fine.

Step 3: Add Vitamin E Oil

Add about 20 drops of vitamin E oil for extra nourishment.

Step 4: Infuse the Oil

You have two options for infusion:

  • Let the mixture sit in the mason jar for about a week. This allows the oil to fully absorb the benefits of the rose petals.
  • Use a double boiler on the stove for a faster infusion. I personally prefer the sit-and-wait method, it’s easier, and the results are just as good.

Step 5: Strain and Bottle the Oil

After infusion, strain out the petals and pour the oil into a glass dropper bottle using a funnel. This step helps since the bottle opening is usually small.

How to Use Rose Oil at Home:

  • For Hair: Apply a few drops to your scalp and massage it in for a nourishing treatment. You can also smooth a little over the ends of your hair to keep them soft and shiny.
  • For Skin: Use it as a facial oil or mix a few drops into your body lotion for extra hydration.

And that’s it! A beautifully scented, deeply hydrating rose oil that your hair and skin will absolutely love.
