This sore muscle relaxer roller bottle with essential oils is magic in a bottle I swear.

I’ve always been the kind of person who’s constantly rearranging furniture and moving things around on my own. Yesterday, I decided to move a big couch out of my living room without thinking twice. This morning, I woke up with sore back muscles and started searching for a warming muscle rub or something like Icy Hot but of course, I didn’t have any on hand (mental note: I need to make one soon).

Luckily, I found my leftover sore muscle relaxer roller bottle and rolled it on. Instant relief. That’s what prompted me to grab my computer and finally prioritize posting this recipe today.

If you’re always lifting, shifting things, or just plain overdoing it 🙋‍♀️ like me, YOU NEED this roller in your life. It’s easy to make, smells amazing, and actually works.

I make my recipes almost weekly, and honestly, sometimes I either forget about them or don’t have time to post right away. This sore muscle relaxer is too good not to share. You’ve got to try it.

Sore Muscle Relaxer Recipe

Ingredients

Instructions:

1. Make the Helichrysum Infused Oil

Fill a small jar with helichrysum flowers and cover them completely with hemp seed oil. Let this mixture infuse in a cool, dark place for 6 weeks. Once it’s ready, strain out the flowers.

You can speed things up using the low heat infusion method, just place your jar in a double boiler with gently simmering water over low heat and let it infuse for 4–6 hours.

2. Add Infused Oil to Your Roller Bottle

Fill your roller bottle almost to the top with the infused oil. You can even drop in a few dried helichrysum flowers for a pretty, extra-potent touch.

3. Add Essential Oils

How to Use Your Homemade Muscle Relaxer

Rub this roller directly onto any sore muscles, especially your back, shoulders, or legs. I like to apply it after a shower or right before bed when my muscles are extra tense.

I’m genuinely so thankful I had this on hand today it’s easy to forget how powerful natural remedies can be until you really need them. If you try this sore muscle relaxer roller, let me know how it works for you!
