I’ve been trying more simple recipes lately, and this one has quickly become a favorite. It smells fresh, it looks cute, and it leaves your skin super soft without any complicated steps.

If you’ve been wanting a quick homemade scrub for glowing skin, this one takes just a couple of minutes and uses basic ingredients you probably already have.

Orange Sugar Scrub Recipe:

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup carrier oil
  • 10 drops orange essential oil
  • A pinch of orange mica powder (optional, for color)

You can use any carrier oil you like. I used almond oil.

Instructions:

1. Add your sugar and mix in the oil

Pour your sugar into a small mixing bowl.

Add the carrier oil and stir until everything is well combined. It should look glossy and slightly wet, but not soupy.

Send it to yourself now and try it out when you’re ready!

2. Add come color

Sprinkle in just a pinch of orange mica powder and mix again until the color is perfectly bright and citrusy.

4. Add essential oil

Finish by adding your orange essential oil and give it one last stir.

5. Store your scrub

Transfer your scrub into a jar with a tight-fitting lid.

Notes

  • Keep water out of the container so your scrub stays fresh longer.
  • Any carrier oil works almond, grapeseed, jojoba, even olive oil in a pinch.
