The moment I mixed this Chocolate sugar Scrub together I knew I was in trouble, it smelled way too good! I had to stop myself from eating it. If you love chocolate as much as I do, you need to try this!

Not only does this scrub smell delicious, but it also leaves your skin feeling soft, smooth, and moisturized. The sugar gently exfoliates, while coconut oil nourishes and hydrates. Plus, cacao powder is packed with antioxidants that are great for your skin. It’s like a spa treatment and a chocolate fix all in one, minus the calories!

Chocolate Sugar Scrub Recipe

I have to admit, this chocolate sugar scrub was so tempting to make because I just wanted to eat it! Haha. I can never resist the smell of rich cacao. If you’re anything like me and love the scent of chocolate, this DIY chocolate body scrub is exactly what you need.

Ingredients:

Instructions:

1. Mix the Dry Ingredients

In a medium-sized bowl, combine the sugar and cacao (or cocoa) powder. Give it a good stir to distribute everything evenly.

2. Melt the Coconut Oil (Optional)

If your coconut oil is solid, melt it using a double boiler until it’s liquid. If you don’t mind a slightly chunkier texture, you can use it as-is.

3. Combine Everything

Pour the melted (or un-melted) coconut oil into the sugar and cocoa mixture. Stir until you get a smooth, even consistency.

4. Store It

Transfer the scrub into a glass jar with a lid for easy storage. Mason jars work great! Keep it sealed tightly to prevent the coconut oil from hardening. If left open, it may solidify.

Use this chocolate sugar scrub in the shower or bath to exfoliate and moisturize your skin. Just scoop a small amount into your hands, massage it onto damp skin, and rinse off. Your skin will feel silky smooth and smell like chocolate!

Notes:

  • If you want the healthiest option with the most antioxidants, go for cacao powder (this is what I used). However, cocoa powder works too.
  • Store your scrub at room temperature, and if your coconut oil solidifies, just scoop it out and warm it in your hands before using.
  • You can also substitute coconut oil with other carrier oils like almond or sunflower oil for a different texture and added skin benefits.
