I was doing my nails yesterday and really wanted to pamper myself like, go all in. So I made a quick little DIY Foot Scrub to treat my feet before my pedicure and wow… game changer. My feet felt so soft after, and honestly, the whole thing just made me feel like I had my life together for a second.
If you’ve been wearing sandals nonstop or just need a little self-care moment, this foot scrub is the easiest thing ever. You only need three ingredients, and it makes enough for a few uses.

DIY Foot Scrub Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup carrier oil (like olive, jojoba, or sweet almond)
- 1 cup Himalayan salt
- 10 drops essential oil (optional)
Instructions
1. Grind the salt
Start by grinding your Himalayan salt into a finer texture. You want it to be a little softer on the skin, especially if you’re going to be scrubbing around delicate areas like your heels or toes.

2. Mix it all together
Add the salt to a bowl and pour in your carrier oil. Mix well until the texture feels spreadable and slightly oily.
Want to save this for later?

3. Add essential oils
Now add your essential oils, if you’re using them. Lavender, peppermint, or tea tree are great choices for feet. Stir everything to combine.

4. Store in a jar
Spoon the scrub into a clean glass jar with a lid.

Notes:
- You can skip the essential oils if you want to keep it super simple.
- For extra benefits, try using a herbal-infused oil like calendula or rosemary.
- Use this scrub after soaking your feet or right before you moisturize for the full spa effect.
